In the early 1990s my family was able to bear witness to God’s unfailing care in the most trying of circumstances. I lived in Florida with my then husband and our two young children. I had been raised in Christian Science and had seen and experienced many healings in our family. My parents were both dedicated Christian Scientists, and I am so grateful to them for instilling a love of God in me. Later as I raised my own family, I relied solely on God’s loving and protecting care for them, and our children regularly attended Sunday School. Even though my husband was not a Christian Scientist, he supported my reliance on Science, as he had witnessed many healings the children and I experienced.
